THE INTERX WAY
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Integrating design thinking with agile methodologies,
we specialise in B2B2C products that can impact consumers directly and adding to the bottom line of your company.
DISCOVER
We start the kick-off meeting by identifying:
1. Your goals: What you want to achieve with your product.
2. Your users’ goals: What users can achieve with your product.
3. Competitor Research and Analysis: Understanding market forces
through Porter’s Five Forces and Business Model Canvas.
4. User Research: We split user research into Qualitative (what)
and Quantitative (why), ranging from in-person interviews to A/B testing.
5. Features: What are the functions of the product that best serve your
target audience.
6. Project Scope and Timeline: Understanding the business case and
your expectations to help give us a framework on how best to organise
resources for your project.
DEFINE
Once the project scope is established, we will collate all the project resources and requirements into a project charter that will document the workflow and track progress.
1. User Journey Map: Mapping out user actions across the buyer journey to identify pain points to be addressed and resolved.
2. Information Architecture: Optimising the model of the website / app / software project into an easily accessible and usable experience.
3. User Flows: Ensuring your customers go through the sales cycle efficiently, reducing churn and/or bounce rates.
DESIGN
After the technological framework is designed, the project will be built out in sprints, starting with critical features and components before working down the priority list. This gives us the ability to build and test your product quickly.
1. Wireframes: A basic set of screens designed with user flows in mind for the purposes of testing out the functionality of your product.
2. User Interface: Designing the styling and patterns of your product interface
3. Graphic Design: We can design custom icons and animated illustrations according to the branding and requirements.
DEVELOP
The project will also be coded out in sprints by our in-house development team. We can integrate CRM databases for you, allowing you to have full control of your client base while managing both business and consumer requirements.
1. Front-end / Back-end Development: We will code out the consumer-facing side of the product for you, allowing you to review and test the product
before deployment.
2. Database Management: Building CRM features into a customised database allows you to track your users through the buyer journey.
3. Lead Gen Systems Integration: Our lead gen system combines digital marketing, product building and database management to ensure that you can diversify your revenue streams digitally.
DEPLOY
In this final phase, we will ensure that your product is viable and ready to be launched right after the following steps:
1. User Acceptance Testing: We can test the product on a few target users to ensure that they are able to use the product adequately and go through the sales cycle efficiently.
2. Deployment: The product will be launched after a few rounds of testing.
